Turf Maintenance
Here at Simply Turf and Green Wall we want to make sure your turf looks nice and that you’re getting the most from your turf investment.
Turf maintenance is an important factor to keeping your turf looking as fresh and clean as the day it was installed, as well as allowing you to use the full lifespan of your turf. Turf should be maintained once or twice a year for residential or commercial properties. We recommend resurfacing (silica sand dressing and brushing) once or twice a year*. This ensures that there is a base for the bristle of the turf to be held up in place, which keeps it looking full and upright and avoids the dreaded flat turf look. Turf that goes flat is more likely to become damaged and fade in color from heat and exposure. This is why resurfacing is so important for your turf investment.
Resurface (Sand and Brush)
We recommend you resurface your turf at least once to twice a year, depending on the amount of traffic on the turf. This helps ensure your bristles have a strong base to avoid flat turf.
Weed and foliage removal
Removal of weeds and any foliage growth keeps the turf looking clean and fresh. Weeds can sometimes grow from seam lines or the perimeter of the property and is recommended to be removed to avoid damage.
Antimicrobial Spray
Spraying your yard with our antimicrobial solution ensures you have a clean yard for your kids or pets. Our antimicrobial spray is eco-friendly. Also, it helps remove those unwanted pet waste odors.
Turf Maintenance Options
We offer resurfacing and maintenance options for your turf needs. We can provide you with a quote based on your square footage and preferences. Along with our resurfacing, we also use an antimicrobial spray to disinfect the area. This also helps with any odors that might be caused by any pets or animals**.

*Residential and Commercial properties, depending on the usage of the turf, can require more than once or twice a year resurfacing management. Once the turf starts looking flat is a good indication you should do a new dressing.
** During our resurfacing or maintenance service visits, we are not responsible nor required to pick up any feces from any pet or animal that is on the turf. If our technicians do have to pick up any feces to properly service the area, the client will be charged an additional $100 per litter bag used to remove.
